About Us

Our Story

Seddon-Atkins was set up in February 2007, by husband and wife Kimberley and Wayne.
Wayne has over 25 years of experience backed by a family history working within the industry for over 70 years.
Since 2007, Wayne and Kimberley, a qualified quantity surveyor with over 15 year's experience, have developed their company by offering exceptional service and quality workmanship.

Wayne was very close to his father, David Seddon, who had been in the motor trade for over 45 years. When David retired, he helped Wayne and Kimberley by collecting and delivering customers’ cars when the company initially set up.
Kimberley’s stepfather, Gerard Atkins, has always been a major influence in her life, so she promised to keep his name even after she married.

Gerard Atkins

David Seddon

With such strong family backgrounds, both Wayne and Kimberley felt the only name for the company was Seddon-Atkins. This was made even more poignant when, in 2008, Wayne’s father passed away. David is sadly missed, but he got to see his son’s dream of owning his own company come true.

Our History

Seddon-Atkins set up business in an old engineer’s workshop that required substantial works to become what it is today.
Kimberley and Wayne worked together to create a workable environment by building paint mixing rooms and even adding in new electric mains supplies!

Fast forward to today and Kimberley and Wayne now employ a dynamic and multi-skilled team to help with the workload, passing on valuable experience and expertise.
